This Cancellation Policy explains the process for cancelling an admission, application or other eligible service with BBS Degree College.

This policy applies to students and applicants using the official website bbsdegreecollege.org.in and other authorized admission channels of the college.

1. Admission Cancellation

A student who wishes to withdraw or cancel admission should submit an official cancellation request to BBS Degree College as early as possible.

The cancellation request may be subject to verification of the student's identity, admission record, fee payment and other relevant documents.

2. Cancellation Request Requirements

Students or applicants requesting cancellation should provide relevant information including:

  • Student or applicant name
  • Application or admission number
  • Course or programme name
  • Registered mobile number
  • Registered email address
  • Date of admission or application
  • Reason for cancellation
  • Copy of payment receipt, where applicable
  • Any additional documents requested by the college

3. Cancellation Before Commencement of Classes

Students may request cancellation before commencement of the academic session or classes.

Any financial adjustment arising from such cancellation will be handled according to the separate Refund Policy and applicable university, government or regulatory rules.

4. Cancellation After Commencement of Classes

Students may request withdrawal after classes have commenced, subject to applicable academic and administrative rules.

The student may be required to complete formal withdrawal procedures, return college property and obtain relevant departmental clearances.

Any refund eligibility following such cancellation will be determined separately under the Refund Policy.

5. Cancellation of Application

An applicant may request cancellation of an admission application before admission is finalized.

Cancellation of an application does not necessarily create an entitlement to a refund of application, registration or processing fees.

6. Cancellation Due to Incorrect Information

BBS Degree College reserves the right to cancel an application or admission if information submitted by an applicant is found to be false, misleading, incomplete or materially incorrect.

This may include discrepancies relating to:

  • Academic qualifications
  • Identity documents
  • Eligibility requirements
  • Certificates or supporting documents
  • Payment records
  • Other information required for admission

7. Cancellation for Non-Payment of Fees

The college may cancel or suspend an admission where required fees are not paid within the prescribed timeline, subject to applicable college and university rules.

Students are responsible for ensuring that applicable fees are paid by the communicated due date.

8. Cancellation for Failure to Submit Documents

Admission may be cancelled if a student fails to submit required documents within the prescribed period or fails to complete mandatory verification procedures.

9. Cancellation by BBS Degree College

BBS Degree College may cancel an admission, course or programme where necessary due to:

  • Regulatory or university requirements
  • Government orders
  • Insufficient enrolment
  • Administrative or academic reasons
  • Failure to meet eligibility criteria
  • Submission of invalid or fraudulent documents
  • Other circumstances permitted under applicable rules

In such situations, affected students will be informed through the appropriate communication channels wherever reasonably possible.

10. Cancellation Confirmation

A cancellation should not be treated as complete merely because a student stops attending classes or submits an informal verbal request.

Important: Admission cancellation will normally be considered complete only after the official request has been accepted and processed by the authorized department of BBS Degree College.

11. Documents & College Property

Before final cancellation or withdrawal, students may be required to return any college property issued to them and complete applicable clearance procedures.

This may include:

  • Library books
  • Identity cards
  • Laboratory materials
  • Academic resources
  • Other institutional property

12. Effect of Cancellation

Once an admission has been formally cancelled, the student may lose the right to attend classes, use college facilities or participate in academic activities related to that admission.

Any request for re-admission after cancellation will be treated as a new matter and will be subject to seat availability and applicable admission rules.

13. Refund After Cancellation

Cancellation and refund are separate processes.

Approval of an admission cancellation does not automatically mean that all fees paid will be refunded.

Refund Information: Any refund following cancellation will be governed by the separate Refund Policy of BBS Degree College and applicable university, government or regulatory guidelines.

14. Changes to the Cancellation Policy

BBS Degree College may modify this Cancellation Policy from time to time according to changes in academic requirements, university regulations, government guidelines or institutional procedures.

The latest version published on the official website will apply.
