This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which payments made to BBS Degree College may be eligible for refund. This policy applies to payments made through bbsdegreecollege.org.in or through other officially authorized payment methods of the college.

Students, parents and applicants are advised to read this policy carefully before making any payment.

1. General Refund Policy

Refund eligibility depends on the nature of the payment, date of the refund request, admission status and applicable college, university, government or regulatory guidelines.

A refund will be processed only after verification of the payment and approval by the authorized college department.

2. Application & Registration Fees

Application fees, registration fees, admission processing charges or other similar administrative fees may be treated as non-refundable once the application or registration process has been completed.

Please Note: Payment of an application or registration fee does not guarantee admission.

3. Admission Fee Refund

If an eligible student withdraws from admission, the refundable amount, if any, will be determined according to the applicable rules for the relevant academic session.

Refund eligibility may depend upon:

  • Date of submission of the refund request
  • Date of commencement of the academic session
  • Type of fee paid
  • Admission status of the student
  • Applicable university or government rules
  • Administrative deductions permitted under applicable guidelines

4. Non-Refundable Charges

Subject to applicable rules, certain charges may be non-refundable after payment or after the related service has been provided.

  • Application fees
  • Registration charges
  • Admission processing fees
  • Administrative charges
  • Document verification charges, where applicable
  • University registration fees already deposited with the university
  • Examination fees already submitted to the relevant authority
  • Other charges specifically declared as non-refundable

5. Duplicate Payment

If the same fee is charged more than once because of a technical error, payment gateway issue or accidental duplicate transaction, the additional payment may be eligible for refund after successful verification.

The applicant may be required to provide:

  • Student or applicant name
  • Course name
  • Registered mobile number
  • Payment date and amount
  • Transaction ID or payment reference number
  • Payment receipt or screenshot

6. Failed Payment Transactions

In some cases, a transaction may fail while the amount is temporarily debited from the applicant's bank account.

Such payments are generally reversed automatically by the bank or payment service provider according to their processing timelines.

If the amount is not reversed, the applicant should contact the bank or payment provider and may also contact the college with the relevant transaction details.

7. Refund Request Procedure

A refund request should be submitted through the official communication channel of BBS Degree College.

The request should include:

  • Student or applicant name
  • Admission or application number, where available
  • Course name
  • Registered mobile number and email address
  • Payment receipt or transaction reference number
  • Amount paid
  • Reason for requesting a refund
Important: Submission of a refund request does not automatically guarantee approval. Each request is subject to verification and applicable refund rules.

8. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed within a reasonable period after verification and final approval.

The actual time required for the amount to appear in the recipient's account may vary depending on the bank, payment gateway or payment method.

9. Mode of Refund

Wherever possible, refunds will be processed through the original method of payment.

In exceptional cases, verified bank details may be requested for processing the refund through another authorized payment method.

10. Course or Admission Cancellation by the College

If the college cancels a course, programme or admission before commencement for administrative, regulatory or other institutional reasons, eligible fees may be refunded in accordance with applicable rules.

11. University & Government Charges

Certain fees may be collected by the college on behalf of an affiliating university, government department, examination authority or regulatory body.

Once such amounts have been deposited with the relevant authority, refunds may be governed by the rules of that authority and may not be directly refundable by BBS Degree College.

12. Changes to the Refund Policy

BBS Degree College may revise this Refund Policy from time to time according to changes in institutional rules, university regulations, government guidelines or applicable laws.
